Objectives:
  • To showcase the achievements of indigenous education and cultural development through static displays and interactive experiences, highlighting ISU’s commitment to multicultural education.
  • To deepen understanding and support for cultural diversity by enhancing awareness of indigenous aesthetics and values within and beyond the campus.
  • To promote cultural inheritance and innovation by inspiring participants to engage with indigenous cultural heritage and encouraging the integration of creativity into modern education.
  • To strengthen the connection between the campus and broader society through interaction with alumni and external visitors, demonstrating ISU’s ongoing commitment to cultural sustainability and adding depth to the 35th anniversary celebration.


Event Highlights:
  • Event Concept: Titled “Indigenous Resonance: A Dialogue between Culture and Education,” the exhibition showcases the College of Indigenous Studies’ 13-year journey in advancing indigenous education and cultural preservation. The curated content features hands-on teaching practices, curriculum design, documentation of cultural activities, and photo records of collaborative learning between students and indigenous communities. Complemented by traditional crafts and past educational initiatives, the exhibition emphasizes the “resonance” generated by integrating culture and education.
  • Static Exhibition:
    Thematic Zone I|Footprints of Education: A retrospective of the College’s teaching achievements, curriculum innovations, student-faculty collaboration, and community engagement since its founding.
    Thematic Zone II|Weaving Culture: An exhibition of traditional glass beadwork, garments, and artifacts, accompanied by explanations of the creative concepts and techniques, showcasing indigenous aesthetics and craftsmanship.
    Thematic Zone III|Culture and Education in Images: Through documentary videos and photography, this exhibition captures the presence and stories of students involved in teaching and cultural transmission, sparking emotional resonance and deeper understanding.
