Objectives:
  • To showcase achievements in academic research, innovative technologies, and industry-university collaboration from the two colleges.
  • To promote interdisciplinary exchange and enhance opportunities for academic-university integration.
  • To provide a platform for students, faculty members, and staff to present their work and strengthen visibility both on and off campus.
  • To leverage the 35th anniversary celebration to elevate ISU’s reputation and reinforce alumni connections.


Event Highlights:
  • Dynamic Exhibition: Eight interactive stations will be featured, including Laser Acupuncture, Tech-Based Cupping, VR Applications in Rehabilitation, TCM Disease Prevention, VR Ultrasound Simulation, and Yogurt Artisan Lab. Participants who complete four stations will receive a gift; those who complete all eight will receive an additional gift.

  • 🌟Department of Physical Therapy & Department of Biomedical Engineering: Tech-Based Cupping for Precision Therapy – Experience personalized cupping pressure and observe myofascial adaptability.
  • 🌟Department of Occupational Therapy: VR Applications in Rehabilitation – Hands-on mixed reality (MR) therapy scenarios for rehab training.
  • 🌟Department of Nutrition: VR Tour & Body Composition Analysis – Immersive campus tour and InBody health assessments.
  • 🌟Department of Medical Imaging and Radiological Sciences: Ultrasound Simulation – Scan an abdominal phantom and learn image interpretation and clinical applications.
  • 🌟Department of Medical Science and Biotechnology: Yogurt Artisan Lab – Explore fermentation science through hands-on yogurt making, where biotech meets nutrition.
  • 🌟Department of Biomedical Engineering: Laser Acupuncture & Rehab Ring Applications – Try automated laser acupuncture and upper limb assessment systems.
  • 🌟Department of Nursing: VR Nursing Simulation – Experience immersive clinical scenes to enhance nursing skills and emergency response.
  • 🌟School of Chinese Medicine for Post-Baccalaureate: TCM Disease Prevention – Learn about immune-balancing wellness through herbal tea demos and educational posters.
