Event Objective:Through the achievement exhibition held during the anniversary celebration, this event aims to showcase ISU’s key accomplishments in fulfilling its University Social Responsibility (USR) and cultivating talent. ISU aspires to encourage its faculty members and students to engage with and better understand social issues, highlight the spirit of interdisciplinary collaboration, and inspire students to develop innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities. The achievement exhibition also demonstrates how ISU responds to societal needs and allows external audiences to gain insight into its USR initiatives and talent development efforts.

Exhibition Content:The achievement exhibition is presented under two main themes: “University Social Responsibility (USR) Achievements” and “Student Talent Development Outcomes”, and will be showcased through posters, LED digital displays, and long-term exhibits.

(1) University Social Responsibility Achievements:Aligned with the USR Program of the Ministry of Education, this section highlights key initiatives at ISU that demonstrate community care and health promotion through the following projects:

“Blooming Paihe, Thriving Changjhih”
“Health Heroes, Youth on the Move”
“Rooted in Shinyuan, Guarded with ISU”
“Health Voyage in Meinong & Yanchao”

ISU has long dedicated itself to field-based USR projects, emphasizing local engagement and sustainable development. Through these four representative initiatives, the achievement exhibition demonstrates how academic resources can be integrated with community needs to promote health, preserve culture, and improve the environment. By collaborating with local organizations, residents, and government agencies, these projects address real-world issues and foster students’ social awareness and sense of service, enhancing ISU’s social impact. These projects reflect ISU’s innovative approaches and influence in addressing community challenges through cross-departmental collaboration and localized action.

(2) Student Talent Development Outcomes:This section showcases the diverse practical achievements accumulated by students through participation in both on-campus and off-campus activities, such as competitions, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Highlights include:

At ISU, strong emphasis is placed on nurturing students’ hands-on skills and innovative thinking. By integrating such platforms as competitions, entrepreneurial practice, and capstone projects, ISU encourages students to challenge themselves and break boundaries. The achievement exhibition features a selection of outstanding examples, including award-winning works from national competitions and products or services developed by student startup teams. These cases demonstrate how students apply their academic knowledge to solve real-world problems, reflecting comprehensive growth in professional skills, teamwork, and creative thinking. Ultimately, the achievement exhibition highlights how these experiences strengthen students’ career readiness and capacity for meaningful societal contributions.
